Mihir Kekre

Mihir Kekre brings long-standing experience in product and management roles, delivering on internationally competitive objectives and strategic program goals.
His career spans roles at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, focussed on deployment of scalable genomics-based solutions for antimicrobial disease surveillance in developing regions of Africa, South-East Asia and South America. Through his work, he has also worked closely with international bodies like the WHO, European Centre for Disease Control (CDC), Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and Public Health England.
Mihir joined Tropic Biosciences in 2021 and oversees technology business development – building industry-academia partnerships through technology licensing and commercialisation across the company’s global technology and research services portfolio (for e.g., GEiGS® trait development platform).
